New Site Launch – Resolved

Hey SingSnappers,

The day has finally come! We are ready to launch our brand new website, SingSnap 2.0. A lot of prep has been put into this transition and we don’t anticipate any issues. Captain Mark has however asked that you please keep your seatbelts on and your tray in the upright position incase we hit a bit of turbulence. The new site will launch tomorrow, December 3rd at 6am SingSnap time.

Should we have any problems during the launch we may take one or both sites down temporarily. If you’re having trouble accessing like normal you can try accessing to see if the legacy site is up and running.

Things To Note:

  • Not all content will be imported from legacy to the new site at launch. Some content cannot be imported until the new site is fully launched. The data import process for that will start immediately after the new site launch is complete. It may take a few days to fully import all data.
  • If you have any login issues resetting your password on the legacy site will likely correct the issue. If you’d like you can use the same password. The action of updating is all that’s needed to correct the issue.
  • There will be a “Back to Legacy” link in the footer of the new website. That will take you back to the legacy site if needed. On the legacy site you will see two logos at the top of the site. One will say Legacy and One will say SingSnap. Clicking the legacy logo will open the legacy home page and clicking on the new SingSnap logo will open the new site.
  • If you have any trouble and you need to contact us for help but you’re unable to private message on the site you can email for assistance.

We have encountered some trouble with the recorder on the legacy site. We are working to resolve this issue. The new site is up and running and accessible for recording.

Recording on legacy is still being worked on. The complications we’ve run into are very complex and may take some time to sort out.
