Below you’ll find common terminology that we may use to describe a service disruption.
Service Interruption – A service interruption indicates that a potential problem has been identified and/or a service has been experiencing performance issues but is currently still available.
Service Downtime – A service downtime indicates that the entire service has been impacted and is currently unavailable or availability is severely limited.
Network Issue – A network issue is largely, if not completely, out of our control. There are many independently maintained networks that work together to form the internet. At times a poorly performing network may impact service. We closely monitor this type of situation and take action to minimize the impact until the independent network administrators are able to resolve the issue.
