Recorder Loading Issues – Google Chrome – Resolved

We are aware of a technical issue affecting the SingSnap recorder specifically for members using the Google Chrome browser. Impacted users may experience a persistent loading screen when attempting to initialize a song for recording, preventing the recorder from fully loading.

This behavior has been identified as a known issue resulting from a recent update to the Google Chrome browser core. Our development team is currently investigating the root cause to determine a permanent fix or compatibility update.

Current Workaround: At this time, we recommend using an alternative, non-Chromium based browser such as Firefox to record. This issue appears to be isolated to the latest Chrome build and does not affect performance on Firefox.

For members currently utilizing Google Chrome who have not yet encountered this latency or initialization failure, we recommend deferring any browser version updates until a patch has been deployed to ensure continued stability.

We apologize for the inconvenience and will provide further technical updates here as the investigation progresses.

Update: 03/16/2026 12:21 pm EST – Issue affecting loading of songs has been fixed! You should now be able to record as expected. If you encounter any issues, please clear your cache and cookies and start a new session on your browser.
